Jill Esbaum: Hello, my name is Jill Esbaum. Before I was married, my name was Jill Schnorr. When I was really little, I couldn't pronounce my name very well. One of my uncles, who wasn't much older than me, liked to tease me. He'd tell me, "Say Jill Schnorr." And I'd say, "Gil Nor." He'd laugh and laugh. One thing that taught me is that I liked making people laugh, but these many years later, do you know that uncle still calls me Gil Nor? Maybe I should dedicate a book to little Gil Nor.
