"When the other spotted hyenas in Katrina's clan laugh, it's meant as a warning to alert the clan that danger is near. But not Katrina. Every single time Katrina starts laughing, they think she's in danger and rush to help her. And this is no laughing matter because the hyena clan has a real danger to contend with: Gary the Lion, who is prowling around watching and waiting for a chance to grab a hyena and eat it for dinner (with a little hot sauce). Katrina, whose dream is to be a stand-up comedian, decides to help her stressed-out clan relax and stop worrying about Gary by putting on a comedy show. At first, the other hyenas roll their eyes at this idea, but before long Katrina has them laughing at her crazy jokes. In fact, the crowd of hyenas watching the show laugh and cheer so wildly that they cast a large, undulating shadow on a nearby rock - a shadow that shifts and swells dramatically and looks like a giant mega-animal. When Gary, who's carefully preparing his hot sauce in preparation for his dinner, sees this terrifying shadow, he runs away and never comes back. So Katrina's dream comes true - she's now a true stand-up comedian. And since the other hyenas no longer have to spend all their time worrying about Gary the Lion, they have time to attend all of Katrina's comedy shows."--
